Congratulations on your decision to accept Christ as your Savior.
We want to welcome you into our Christian Internet Family.
Many things happened when you received Jesus Christ as your Savior.
Christ came into your life. [Colossians 1:27]
You began a relationship with God. [John 10:10]
Your sins were forgiven. [John 10:9].
You became a child of God. [John 1:12].
You received eternal life. [John 3:16].
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from
yourselves, it is the gift of God. [Ephesians 2:8 NIV, page 1814]
Following are suggestions for Spiritual growth - information to help you develop your relationship with
your Savior, to help you grow as a Christian, and help you find happiness and purpose in your
life.
Spiritual growth results from trusting Jesus Christ. "The righteous man shall live by
faith" [Galatians 3:11]. A life of faith will enable you to trust God increasingly with
every detail of your life.
Look at your new relationship with God as a journey ..... and enjoy your new journey
to the fullest...
When your communication line is open with God thru prayer, you can talk to God and His
Spirit will guide you. Talk to God from your heart - He is not so
concerned with your words as He is with the attitude of your heart. Do go to God in prayer
at least once daily.
Would you like to demonstrate your faith by thanking God in prayer, right
now, for what He has done for you?
If you do not belong to a church, call the pastor of a local church where Christ
is honored and His Word is preached..... and attend regularly.
God's Word instructs us not to forsake "the assembling of ourselves together"
[Hebrews 10:25]
Do read your Bible often - begin with the Gospel of John. Do not feel that you have to understand everything you read in the Bible, as it can
be overwhelming. Once you join a local church, attend their Bible study groups.
Do set a goal to read the Bible from cover to cover. Your church group can guide you
in a way where it won't feel overwhelming to you.
Do not feel that you have to read the Bible everyday, as it may put too much pressure
on you. Although, if you are a person that does better on a definite schedule to read
a certain amount everyday, then do it. Personally I read when I want to.... I may read
15 minutes or I might read an hour or two. Each person has different needs, so remember
this is your schedule, your journey....... your personal relationship with God. So enjoy.
Do keep in mind, each day that you do read from His book makes the Lord happy.
Do go to a Christian Book Store and purchase booklets for the new
Christian..... to give you understanding as to how you are to live and what to study, or you
may receive them from your Church.
Do trust God for every detail of your life [1 Peter 5:7].
Do thank God often that Christ is in your life and that He will never leave you [Hebrews 13:5].
You can know on the basis of His promise that Christ lives in you and that you have eternal
life from the very moment you invite Him in. He will not deceive you.
Do remember we are here for you. When you need someone to talk with or pray with,
we are here.
Please, put this website into your "Favorites" and return often.
